Recruitment of Participants for Songpa Employment Academy 'Songsagan'
Job Talk with Current Employees of Major Companies... Hyundai Motor, Lotte, Kakao Participating in March
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Songpa-gu (Mayor Park Seong-su) is operating the Songpa Employment Academy ‘Songsagan’ to strengthen the employment capabilities of young job seekers and assist them in finding jobs.
‘Songsagan’ is a program where participants listen to vivid job talks from current employees of excellent domestic and international companies. Job seekers can directly or indirectly experience the practical work of companies and hear about the employment success stories and vivid job experiences of current employees.
Since the program started in January last year until February this year, more than 30 sessions have been held, with over 500 young job seekers participating in total over one year.
Participants expressed high satisfaction due to the job-tailored program structure and small group sessions, which allowed close communication with instructors and high immersion.
In March, mentoring from current employees of major domestic companies such as Hanwha, Hyundai Department Store, Lotte, and SK will continue. Sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 2 PM for two hours, except on March 18 and 25, with themes such as sales, ICT, and accounting, including resume and self-introduction mentoring and mock interview preparation.
In particular, on the 23rd, there will be self-introduction mentoring by a current employee of Kakao, which is recently popular among young job seekers, and on the 30th, preparation for interviews at foreign companies will be conducted by a current employee of Sony Korea.
The program is conducted online to prevent infectious diseases.
Applications can be submitted online. All participants are provided with opportunities to experience AI/VR interviews, and upon job registration, they can also receive 1:1 counseling and employment linkage services.
