Zhao Lijian, spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said at a regular briefing on the 15th, "We are closely monitoring reports related to North Korea-US contacts."
Spokesperson Zhao added, "China supports North Korea-US contacts and dialogue, and supports multilateral talks among the relevant countries," emphasizing, "All parties must work together for peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula."
He also added, "China hopes to continue playing a constructive role regarding the Korean Peninsula issue."
