The National Office Financial Services Labor Union FSS branch held a press conference in front of the Blue House on the morning of the 15th, demanding an investigation by the Blue House's Office of Civil Service Discipline and the dismissal of Director Yoon.
The union stated, "We have requested a special investigation by the Blue House Office of Civil Service Discipline into Director Yoon's alleged dereliction of duty and have come here to urge his dismissal. Although it is unbearably painful to request an investigation into the head of the organization, we have made this difficult decision for the innocent FSS employees who are still unaware that they are victims of the FSS recruitment corruption scandal and who bear collective responsibility such as promotion restrictions due to the aftermath of the scandal."
The union argued that a thorough investigation of Director Yoon must be conducted to uphold the authority of the FSS, which sanctions financial companies.
They claimed that not only did Director Yoon include two individuals involved in the recruitment corruption in the list of promotion candidates in this regular personnel reshuffle, but also that the FSS was not proactive in taking legal action against employees whose recruitment was canceled due to the corruption, allowing them to be reinstated, and that a series of responsibilities must be held accountable.

The union pointed out, "If lenient personnel measures are taken for those involved in recruitment corruption, it could create a false perception that no matter what wrongdoing occurs, if the director favors someone, they can be promoted, and it would also prevent strict inspection and supervision of financial companies."
