View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] eBay Korea announced on the 15th that Smile Delivery, its next-day combined delivery service, will run the "Thanks to You Smile" campaign Season 2 until June 6th to send support to delivery drivers.
Thanks to You Smile is a campaign where Smile Delivery customers send encouragement and bring smiles to people from all walks of life through online shopping. The newly launched Season 2 of Thanks to You Smile is designed to warmly support and express gratitude to delivery drivers who are working hard to handle the surge in deliveries caused by COVID-19.
This campaign will be carried out in four phases in partnership with Smile Delivery affiliated brands, featuring various activities such as ▲Energy Delivery ▲Good Handles that reduce delivery load ▲Brand Deals. The campaign will start with Lotte Confectionery, followed sequentially by four brands including Jayeon-ui Pumgyeok, Celtive, and Ottogi.
Every time Smile Delivery customers select or write a support message for delivery drivers, Smile Delivery will deliver an Energy Delivery package to the drivers. The Energy Delivery package consists of snacks prepared by partner brands, 3M gloves provided by eBay Korea, and a postcard with the customer's support message. The Energy Delivery packages will be given to selected drivers, including Smile Delivery dedicated drivers and some drivers handling Smile Delivery shipments on behalf of CJ Logistics.
Additionally, starting from orders placed on the 18th, a Good Handle that reduces delivery load will be applied to delivery boxes. This handle reduces back strain caused by delivery boxes by about 10% and decreases the maximum weight by up to 7 kg, greatly improving carrying convenience.
