"Review of North Korea Policy to Be Completed Within Weeks," Acting U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Sung Kim Mentions (Update)
[Asia Economy New York=Correspondent Baek Jong-min] Sung Kim, Acting Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, said that the Biden administration's review of North Korea policy is expected to be completed within a few weeks.
Ambassador Sung Kim, the U.S. chief negotiator for the June 12 North Korea-U.S. summit agenda coordination working-level talks, is leaving the Four Seasons Hotel in Jongno-gu, Seoul, on the morning of the 30th.

During a phone briefing on the 12th (local time), Acting Assistant Secretary Kim said, "We are moving quickly on this," and added, "I think we will probably be able to complete the review within a few weeks."
He also mentioned that during the review of North Korea policy, they have maintained close contact with South Korea and Japan.
