50-Year-Old Taxi Driver Sentenced to 15 Years for Killing Colleague Suspected of Sexually Harassing Girlfriend
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A taxi driver who fatally stabbed a colleague, accusing him of sexually harassing his girlfriend, has been sentenced to prison.
The Criminal Division 13 of the Seoul Northern District Court (Presiding Judge Oh Kwon-cheol) sentenced former taxi driver Kim Mo (59), who was arrested and indicted on charges of murder for killing a fellow taxi driver, to 15 years in prison on the 12th.
Earlier, Kim was brought to trial on charges of stabbing a fellow taxi driver to death during an argument at a bar on September 24 last year, after accusing him of making sexually harassing remarks toward his girlfriend.

The court stated, "The crime was committed based on unfounded suspicion against the victim, and considering the circumstances that the weapon was purchased near the scene and the crime was immediately carried out, the culpability is not light."
