At Samyuk Busan Hospital in Seo-gu, where 17 confirmed cases were reported in a cluster until the previous day, two patients showing suspicious symptoms underwent diagnostic tests and were confirmed positive.
Regarding the cluster infection among the dockworkers' union members at Gamcheon Port, who boarded foreign vessels to unload seafood, one person who had contact with existing confirmed cases was additionally confirmed positive on the day.
The number of confirmed cases related to Gamcheon Port increased to 17, including 11 workers and 6 contacts.
One more confirmed case was reported among the crew of the fishing vessel Gyeonghaeho, where infections occurred consecutively after a seafarer who had been discharged from Haedong Hospital in Yeongdo-gu boarded the ship.
The cumulative confirmed cases related to Gyeonghaeho are 13 in total, including 10 crew members and 3 contacts.
No additional confirmed cases were reported at the Busan Cooperative Fish Market, where 15 confirmed cases had disrupted auctions.
Busan case number 3366, confirmed on the 10th, is a nursing hospital worker who tested positive during routine proactive screening.
