Gijang-gun announced on the 11th at noon that out of 1,556 first priority vaccination targets, 875 people, or 56.2%, have completed vaccination.
The first priority vaccination targets in Gijang-gun include ▲residents and workers of nursing hospitals and facilities (900 people), ▲workers at high-risk medical institutions (366 people), and ▲COVID-19 first responders (290 people).
Since the 27th of last month, Gijang-gun has started COVID-19 vaccination at 20 nursing hospitals and facilities in the area, and from the 8th of this month, vaccinations have been administered to workers at five high-risk medical institutions, 119 paramedics, epidemiological investigators, and other COVID-19 first responders.
Vaccination is scheduled to be completed by the 18th.
Additionally, for the medical staff at the Southeast Regional Radiation Medical Center, a dedicated COVID-19 infectious disease hospital, Pfizer vaccines will be directly delivered to the hospital on the 16th, and the hospital plans to complete vaccinations by the end of this month on its own.
