KB Kookmin Card Launches 'Mobile Student ID Check Card Service'
Providing Services Such as Mobile Student ID and Academic Schedule Inquiry with KB Pay Payment Function
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] KB Kookmin Card announced on the 11th that it has launched the 'KB Kookmin Mobile Student ID Check Card Service,' which automatically creates a mobile student ID when a student registers a student ID check card issued as a physical plastic card to KB Pay.
This service features various functions provided in a mobile environment, including mobile payment using KB Pay, a 'Mobile Student ID' that can be used just like a physical student ID, a 'School Barcode' that allows meal and library use via barcode, 'Our School Timeline' where academic schedules, timetables, and meal plans can be checked, and 'Balance Check' that allows users to verify the balance and transaction history of the check card withdrawal account.
This service is provided to students enrolled in partner high schools using the KB Kookmin Student ID Check Card, and when this card is selected during payment method registration on KB Pay, the mobile student ID is automatically created.
A KB Kookmin Card official said, "The newly introduced service focuses on supporting smart school life by providing functions frequently used by students in a mobile environment," adding, "In the future, we plan to introduce differentiated functions and services that are highly interesting and versatile for teenage customers, such as dedicated widgets, sticker decoration, and allowance management."
