Yangsan-si to Recruit 35 Students for 'Humanities Course'... 70% Tuition Support Provided
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Yangsan City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 9th that it will recruit 35 students on a first-come, first-served basis by the 19th for the 'Yangsan Humanities Course' starting in April at Yeongsan University Lifelong Education Center.
This course covers everything from basic to advanced humanities. It consists of 100 hours over 8 months, held once a week every Tuesday evening at 7 PM.
Any citizen aged between 30 and 65 residing in Yangsan who wishes to cultivate a sense of community and cultural refinement is eligible to apply. The city supports 700,000 KRW per person for the tuition, and the individual pays 300,000 KRW.
Applicants can check the city hall website's notices and announcements or inquire at the General Affairs Team of the Wongsang Branch Office or Yeongsan University Lifelong Education Center.
