Gangdong-gu Godeok Biz Valley 8th Land Supply
Supply of Sites 1-4, 1-6BL for Self-Sufficient Facilities in Godeok Gangil District... Companies Using Office and Research Facilities... Business Plan Submission by April 19
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangdong-gu (Mayor Lee Jeong-hoon) announced the 8th land supply notice on February 19 for self-sufficient facility sites within Godeok Biz Valley, accepting business plans from companies until April 19.
The land supply targets consist of two plots (Self-sufficient 1-4, Self-sufficient 1-6), aimed at attracting companies for office and research facilities in advanced industries, information and communication industries, and engineering sectors.
The land sizes are 957㎡ for Self-sufficient 1-4 and 908㎡ for Self-sufficient 1-6. Companies wishing to acquire land must designate one of the two plots, prepare a business plan (including ▲Company status ▲Business plan ▲Architectural plan, etc.), and submit it along with the required documents.
Applicants must be individual corporations corresponding to the targeted industries or consortia composed of two or more corporations, and double applications for the supply land are not allowed.
To prevent speculative approaches and to attract companies with genuine occupancy intentions, resale is prohibited for five years after the building preservation registration, and the business operator must directly use at least 50% of the main facility for five years from the completion date. Additionally, factory establishment and approval are restricted under the Water Supply Act, so caution is required.
The submitted business plans will undergo fair evaluation by a corporate attraction evaluation committee composed of experts in related fields. Companies selected as land supply candidates will be recommended to the Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation for contract processing.
Currently, the 1st to 7th land supply notices for self-sufficient facility sites in Godeok Biz Valley have resulted in the selection of 22 companies (36 companies including consortia) and knowledge industry centers, with contracts signed with the Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation. Once the 8th land supply candidates are selected, the supply of self-sufficient facility sites in Godeok Biz Valley will be completed.
Mayor Lee Jeong-hoon of Gangdong-gu stated, “We expect to strengthen local job creation and economic foundations through Godeok Biz Valley,” and added, “We will do our best to attract excellent companies and research facilities.”
