Gwangju Buk-gu, Promotion of Community-Led Youth Job Project
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Moon In) announced on the 7th that it will recruit companies and youth to participate in the 2021 local-led youth job project.
Buk-gu plans to invest 1.392 billion KRW secured from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's contest this year to support companies that hire job-seeking youth with up to 1.8 million KRW in labor costs for 9 months.
The participants are small and medium-sized enterprises located in Buk-gu and unemployed youth under the age of 39 residing in Gwangju Metropolitan City according to their resident registration.
The recruitment fields include five areas: existing small and medium-sized enterprises, industrial complexes, drones, knowledge services, and the 4th industrial revolution.
Detailed information such as recruitment periods and number of people for each field can be found in the announcement posted on the Buk-gu Office website.
Youth selected as project participants can participate in capacity-building programs such as basic and specialized education and consulting, and then be employed by matched companies.
