According to the Mokpo City Health Center, the first dose recipients include workers at nursing hospitals and facilities, as well as staff at hospitals treating COVID-19 patients. Vaccinations began on the 2nd, and the current vaccination rate stands at 74.1%.
A representative from the Mokpo Health Center stated, “There have been a total of 10 reports of vaccine adverse reactions, of which 5 were mild symptoms. The other 5 reported high fever, chills, and muscle pain, but these symptoms improved over time, and so far, there have been no significant abnormalities related to the vaccine.”
Meanwhile, the total number of first-dose vaccine recipients in Mokpo is 1,724, and vaccinations are expected to be completed by the 5th.
