Hapyang-gun has been supporting protective clothing worn when spraying pesticides by receiving applications from farmers every year with a project cost of around 30 million won.
This measure takes into account that if pesticide components accumulate in the human body when farmers spray pesticides during the crop cultivation process, it may cause various diseases such as malignant tumors, respiratory diseases, and neurological disorders.
During the farming process, various pesticides are used several times to prevent pests and diseases, but cases of poisoning often occur because farmers spray pesticides without wearing protective gear.
