Gyeongnam Companies Send Bouquets to One School Each to Support Flower Farmers
55 Companies Gift 60 Million Won Worth of Flower Bouquets to 71 Elementary, Middle, and High Schools
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 4th that 55 companies in the province, including BNK Gyeongnam Bank, formed sisterhood ties with 71 schools and gifted flower bouquets worth 60 million won to February graduates and March new students.
This is part of the 'One Company One School Bouquet Sending' campaign to support local flower farms struggling due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
On the 3rd of last month, at the Gyeongnam Provincial Office, Governor Kim Kyung-soo of Gyeongsangnam-do, the Gimhae and Changwon Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the head of the Nonghyup Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, and BNK Gyeongnam Bank gathered to form one company one school sisterhood ties and held an event to send bouquets to graduates and new students of elementary, middle, and high schools in the province.
Shin Ki-su, CEO of Daegun Tech Co., Ltd., who participated in this one company one school bouquet sending, said, "It was good to help flower farms struggling due to the COVID-19 situation and to share the joy of graduation and entrance with students whose ceremonies were scaled down due to non-face-to-face graduation and entrance ceremonies through congratulatory bouquets."
