Government Expresses Serious Concern Over Civilian Casualties in Myanmar

On the 1st, the government stated through a spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs concerning the situation in Myanmar, "Our government expresses very serious concern over the shocking news of numerous civilian casualties in Myanmar."
It continued, "We condemn the Myanmar military and police authorities for violently suppressing civilians demanding democracy and strongly urge the immediate cessation of violence against protesters."
The government said, "Our government will monitor the situation in Myanmar together with the international community and will consider our future measures."
