According to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, as of 6 p.m. on the same day, a total of 16,813 people received the vaccine at nursing hospitals and other facilities nationwide.
Among the 289,480 priority recipients for the first dose, 5.81% completed their vaccinations on the first day. The vaccination rate compared to the domestic population of 52 million is 0.03%.
