[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Health authorities have launched an epidemiological investigation after a foreign worker in Gwangju suddenly died following a COVID-19 test while complaining of chest pain.
According to health authorities on the 26th, a 31-year-old Malaysian national, Mr. A, was found dead around 3 p.m. at a one-room house in Pyeong-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City.
He had visited a hospital in Gwangsan-gu the previous day due to chest pain. On the same day, he underwent a COVID-19 test at a screening clinic. The test results have not yet been released.
