E-commerce Creating Dramas... TMON Releases Web Drama 'Sweet Office'
Last Year, New Teen Customers Tripled... Web Drama Produced to Expand MZ Generation Engagement
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] TMON (CEO Lee Jin-won) announced that it will release the web drama "Sweet Office" on its official YouTube channel on the 26th. This drama was planned to expand the connection with the MZ generation (born from the early 1980s to the early 2000s), who are active users of TMON, and to increase interest and familiarity with "time commerce."
As of the third quarter of last year, TMON has rapidly established itself as a consumption channel for younger age groups, with new sign-ups from teenagers increasing nearly threefold. Accordingly, in addition to its mobile app, TMON plans to approach customers with content targeting the 10s and 20s generation through its YouTube channel.
"Sweet Office" is a work that adds light fantasy imagination to episodes set in an office. It comically unravels the complex intertwined relationships of the characters along with TMON’s time commerce services. Throughout the drama, viewers can find features of TMON’s time stores such as "100 Second Attack," "1212 Time," "Time Attack," and "TMON Black Deal."
Actors supported by the MZ generation, including former model and actor Son Hyun-woo, Park Si-young, the lead of the web drama "Real: Time: Love," Kim Jae-i, formerly of the girl group FIESTAR, and Kim Kyung-bo, who gave a passionate performance in the play "Paper," star as the main characters. The director is Lee Soo-ji, who directed web dramas such as "Office Watch" and "Farther than Sadang, Closer than Uijeongbu."
