[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] Gangnam Jevisco announced on the 25th that it has developed matte and ultra-matte coatings for luxury vinyl tiles (LVT).
LVT is a flooring material that has already gained great popularity overseas due to its superior durability compared to traditional interior flooring materials such as wood, stone, and ceramic. The matte and ultra-matte coatings for LVT developed by Gangnam Jevisco are environmentally friendly and exhibit excellent performance in antibacterial properties and abrasion resistance.
Gangnam Jevisco's Beamcoat UV coating showed a 99.9% reduction rate in Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli strains in antibacterial tests, earning it recognition as a product with excellent antibacterial efficacy. Additionally, the company explained that the coating emits almost no volatile organic compounds, making it environmentally friendly and minimizing odors generated during tile production.
