View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] The Gimhae City Council in Gyeongnam announced on the 25th that it conducted training to strengthen legislative capabilities for city council members and staff in accordance with the full revision of the Local Autonomy Act.
This training was organized to analyze the core aspects of the revised Local Autonomy Act and the expected effects, and to proactively respond to these changes.
The council invited Choi In-hye, director of the Korea Institute of Local Autonomy Law, as an instructor to review the revised provisions, local legislative authority, administrative powers, and other specific details, and received education on the role and direction of local councils.
