At the Supreme Council meeting held at the National Assembly on the 25th, Floor Leader Kim stated, "The Democratic Party has been working hard in the February National Assembly to lay the foundation for regulatory innovation and the K-New Deal. We are awaiting the passage of bills tomorrow."
He said, "The regulatory sandbox bill and the K-New Deal bill are subject to passage. We will also pass the Restriction of Special Taxation Act to reduce taxes for benevolent landlords, and the Public Health Drug Support Act to quickly supply medicines during infectious disease outbreaks. The special law for Gadeok New Airport will definitely be passed," he added.
He continued, "The National Assembly must take the lead in creating a foundation to revive livelihoods. The ruling and opposition parties must jointly fulfill the 21st National Assembly's promise to create a working parliament. The Democratic Party will focus its efforts on legislative achievements," he emphasized.
He also urged the opposition, saying, "We will do our best to pass as many bills as possible through repeated deliberations just before the plenary session. Do not oppose unconditionally, but cooperate on livelihood legislation."
