Gwangju Buk-gu to Offer Access to 215 Electronic Magazines Starting Next Month
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Moon In) announced on the 25th that it will start a non-face-to-face electronic magazine reading service from next month.
This electronic magazine reading service was prepared to provide various information to residents who find it difficult to visit libraries frequently closed due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The electronic magazines include 215 types of domestic magazines such as current affairs, economy, and fashion, containing a total of 800,000 magazine articles including about 20,000 latest and back issues.
Library regular members and associate members can log in to the Gwangju Buk-gu Integrated Library website and read 24 hours a day regardless of the library's closure status.
For mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, users can install the 'Library Magazine' app and log in with their 'Gwangju Metropolitan City Buk-gu Integrated Library' website ID and password.
