‘ESG’ stands for Environment, Social, and Governance, and it has recently emerged as a core standard in corporate activities, meaning the pursuit of sustainable development by applying eco-friendly practices, social responsibility management, and ethical governance improvements in business operations.
Seoul Milk Cooperative presented the direction of ESG management based on its management philosophy of ‘Making the world healthy with milk.’ ‘Making the world healthy’ carries the meaning of ‘making people, society, and the planet healthy.’ ‘Making people healthy’ refers to customer satisfaction and customer health, ‘making society healthy’ means dairy development and a mutually prosperous society, and ‘making the planet healthy’ signifies eco-friendliness and animal welfare.
Seoul Milk will first promote company-wide eco-friendly activities such as eliminating disposable paper cups within the company, using business cards made from recycled paper, and switching office supplies to eco-friendly materials.
