Gyeongsangnam-do is recruiting 10 companies to participate as an 'Online Trade Delegation' in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, Japan.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 24th that it is recruiting 10 companies to participate as an 'online trade delegation' in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, Japan.

This plan aims to maximize marketing effects by utilizing non-face-to-face consultations and product promotions due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

The total support fund is 60 million KRW, and target companies will be selected by comprehensively evaluating the level of export readiness, such as 'product marketability and possession of international certifications.'

Selected companies will be supported with costs for promotional video production, buyer discovery, and interpretation to conduct video consultations.

Last year, an online trade delegation to China was promoted in the machinery parts sector.

At that time, 8 companies from the province participated, conducting 37 video consultations with 25 buyers.

In the case of Company T, which manufactures main pumps for mobile machinery, it was announced that they are pursuing contracts worth 5.05 million USD through 9 consultations. A representative of Company T expressed satisfaction with the project, saying, "It became an opportunity to enter new markets," and "We will continue to maintain relationships with the buyers we discovered."

Companies wishing to participate can apply online through the 'Business Announcement and Application' section within the 'Gyeongnam Overseas Marketing Business Support System' by March 10.
