Following the early sale of 30 billion KRW issued in January and February, the plan is to issue a total of 80 billion KRW worth within the first half of the year, focusing on revitalizing the livelihood economy.
The additional issuance of 50 billion KRW can also be purchased at a 10% special discount within a monthly limit of 300,000 KRW per person, so many residents are expected to benefit from the Gyeongnam Sarang Gift Certificates.
The Gyeongnam Sarang Gift Certificate is a mobile gift certificate based on Zero Pay.
Since COVID-19, consumer interest in contactless payments has increased, and a 0% payment commission rate has been realized.
Since its issuance began in August 2019, the Gyeongnam Sarang Gift Certificate has continued to sell out since February of last year.
Of the total 68.7 billion KRW worth of Gyeongnam Sarang Gift Certificates issued last year, it was found that more than 61 billion KRW was spent at consumer outlets.
