[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The early assembly training for freshmen in the Department of Defense Technology at Gwangju University is playing a key role in significantly increasing the pass rate of military officer exams.
The Department of Defense Technology at Gwangju University announced on the 25th that it is conducting early assembly training for freshmen of the 2021 academic year until the 27th.

Students receive lectures on officer exam subjects and areas from professors and external instructors through both in-person and online sessions.
Students of the Department of Defense Technology at Gwangju University have established themselves as a cradle for nurturing military officers by producing over 90% pass rates in the written military officer selection exams through early assembly training.
In particular, the department has achieved excellent results in the “University Evaluation for Establishing ROTC Units” conducted by the Ministry of National Defense, and has been attracting attention by providing systematic educational programs such as aptitude tests, assembly training, and physical training from the first year for students aspiring to become Army officers.
