View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] On the 23rd, Miryang City in Gyeongnam announced that it has started operating the Miryang Farm Center in Naeildong and the Donggari Village Management Office in Naeidong, key facilities of the Urban Regeneration New Deal project.
The facilities are operated by a social cooperative and represent the first case of Miryang City's urban regeneration project led by the local community.
They are planned to be used as a community caf? for local residents and a sales center for sixth industry processed products.
Local residents established the Naeildong Miryang Sarang and Naeidong Donggari Saranghoe social cooperatives to operate the facilities, completing training in coffee, baking, and cooperative accounting to enhance their capabilities.
The social cooperative plans to continuously participate in the urban regeneration project to strengthen the local community.
