61% of the Main Budget, 103.2 Billion KRW, to be Expended Rapidly in the First Half of the Year
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Goryeong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, held a 2021 local finance rapid execution report meeting attended by department heads and announced on the 23rd that they discussed plans to concentrate budget spending in the first half of the year.
Goryeong-gun plans to execute 61% of the rapid execution target amount of 213.4 billion KRW based on this year's main budget, which is 103.2 billion KRW, in the first half of the year. In particular, out of the 213.9 billion KRW budget for consumption and investment sectors such as personnel expenses, book purchase costs, facility expenses, and asset and goods acquisition costs, 21.9%, or 46.8 billion KRW, is planned to be spent in the first quarter.
Goryeong-gun, which formed a rapid execution promotion team led by the vice county governor, is focusing on improving the execution rate by pre-purchasing supplies and consumables, reducing preliminary procedures for large-scale investment projects, and expanding advance payments.
