Gyeongbuk Social Welfare Fund, Van Support to Sangju City Community Self-Sufficiency Center
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Sangju City announced on the 23rd that on the 22nd, a vehicle handover ceremony was held at City Hall attended by Mayor Kang Young-seok, Jeon Woo-heon, Chairman of the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea, and Lim Joo-won, Director of the Sangju City Fruit of Love Sharing Volunteer Group.
The Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea delivered one van (Starex, worth approximately 27 million KRW) to the Sangju City Regional Self-Sufficiency Center (Director Lee Seung-man) on that day. The vehicle support was part of the 2020 planned project by the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea.
The Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea annually supports welfare facilities through a vehicle support public contest project to improve the mobility convenience of residents and users of welfare facilities and to provide customized services tailored to the needs of the recipients.
From 2003 to 2020, the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea has supported a total of 36 vehicles to various social welfare facilities in Sangju City.
