Muan-gun Temporarily Closes Public Sports Facilities for 'Preemptive Quarantine Measures'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 22nd that it will temporarily close 43 public sports facilities in the county, including Muan Sports Park, until the situation stabilizes due to the continuous occurrence of COVID-19 cases in the local community.
The targeted facilities include 14 indoor sports facilities such as indoor swimming pools and multipurpose sports halls, and 29 outdoor sports facilities such as golf practice ranges, soccer fields, and baseball fields.
The county plans to ensure the safety of facility users by disinfecting Muan Sports Park along with the closure of sports facilities to prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
