"Relaxation Effect" Jo Win Launches 'My Dream Tea'
Helps Relieve Stress and Tension with 'L-Theanine' Content
Certified for Functionality and Safety through MFDS Verification
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Healthcare company Jowin announced on the 22nd that it has launched ‘My Dream Tea’.
My Dream Tea contains L-theanine, a component that helps increase and maintain alpha (α) waves responsible for physical stability and relaxation, aiding in relieving tension caused by stress. It has been certified as a health functional food by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) for its functionality and safety. In particular, the main effect of theanine, tension relief, is also known to influence sleep initiation and maintenance.
The main ingredient of My Dream Tea, theanine, is a type of amino acid found only in certain plants such as green tea, black tea, and camellia. The MFDS has recognized that a daily intake of 200?250mg can ‘help relieve tension caused by stress.’ One packet of My Dream Tea contains 250mg of theanine, meeting the daily recommended amount with just one packet.
My Dream Tea is available in two flavors reflecting consumer preferences: a refreshing ‘Hibiscus flavor’ and a fragrant, sweet ‘Peach flavor.’
CEO Cha Ji-woon stated, “Although more consumers are interested in improving their quality of life, the quantity and quality of sleep for modern people are declining due to busy lifestyles, and the sleep-related industry is growing globally. We launched My Dream Tea to relieve tension caused by daily stress, improve sleep quality, and meet consumers’ demands for a refreshing morning.”
