Damyang-gun Announces Recruitment for New Students of the 14th Damyang-gun Agricultural College
Shine Muscat Course Open from March to November, Apply by the 26th
[Damyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Chunsu] Damyang County in Jeonnam announced on the 22nd that it is recruiting new students for the "14th Damyang County Farmers' University" until the 26th to cultivate professional agricultural managers who will lead the agricultural environment for the premiumization of local agricultural products.
In this training, the county plans to provide step-by-step education on cost reduction, systematic cultivation techniques, and distribution to increase farm income and improve the quality of Shine Muscat, which stands out as a key crop in the region, in response to the demands of farmers.
The training will be held from March to November, and those wishing to enroll can apply through the agricultural counseling offices in the towns and townships by the 26th.
The Farmers' University is a project aimed at fostering professional farmers through customized education tailored to regional characteristics, and since 2008, it has produced 869 graduates over 13 sessions.
Graduates actively contribute to the development of local agriculture and the increase of farmers' income through item-specific research groups, post-harvest education, and education feedback activities.
