5 Additional COVID-19 Cases Including 1 Related to Yeongsaenggyo in Bucheon, Gyeonggi

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 21st that five people, including one related to the Yeongsaenggyo Seungri Altar, tested positive for COVID-19.
The confirmed case is a person in their 70s, Mr. A, who was previously under self-quarantine and tested positive on the day after undergoing a test before the quarantine was lifted.
No confirmed cases were reported on the day at the Ojeong Ability Tutoring Academy in Ojeong-dong, which was identified as linked to the Seungri Altar infection chain.
As a result, the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases related to the Seungri Altar and the tutoring academy in the Bucheon area has increased to 145.
Since 53 confirmed cases occurred in a cluster on the 9th at the Seungri Altar and tutoring academy, family members and contacts related to the cluster have continued to test positive daily.
The other four confirmed cases were identified as family members or contacts of confirmed cases inside or outside the district.
