Jeju Coast Guard Office Awards Scholarships to Middle and High School Students in the Province
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters (Jeju) Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] The Jeju Regional Maritime Police Agency (Chief Oh Sang-kwon) awarded scholarships to four students selected from middle and high schools in the province on the 19th as part of the "Jeju Regional Maritime Police Agency Beautiful Companionship" scholarship program.
According to the Jeju Maritime Police Agency, the "Jeju Regional Maritime Police Agency Beautiful Companionship" was established and has been operated since 2017 with funds collected bit by bit by all employees of the Jeju Regional Maritime Police Agency to practice sharing love for neighbors. It is conducted annually by providing scholarships to children of local residents and donating money to underprivileged neighbors.
The scholarships awarded on this day were also prepared by the "Jeju Regional Maritime Police Agency Beautiful Companionship," selecting four students (one from Ara Middle School, one from Jeju Girls' Middle School, one from Jeju Girls' High School, and one from Sinseong Girls' High School) who are diligently studying despite difficult circumstances.
