Portal 'Daum' PC and Mobile News 'Down'... Kakao "Checking"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Users are experiencing inconvenience as a malfunction has occurred preventing access to news content on the portal site 'Daum'.
As of 2:30 PM on the 18th, Daum mobile and PC users are unable to access news content normally. In particular, on the PC version, clicking on news results in only a white screen appearing without any content or notification message.
The operator, Kakao, is aware of this malfunction and is currently investigating the detailed cause and scope of the impact.

Previously, Daum News experienced an error in February last year where news searches for certain keywords were unavailable for about 20 minutes. In October last year, there was also an error lasting about an hour during which access to some services such as Daum Cafe, Mail, and News was either unavailable or slow.
