Legoland Korea Resort Recruiting 2021 Kids Reporters
[Asia Economy, reporter Kim Yuri] Legoland Korea Resort announced on February 17 that it is recruiting a children's press corps, called the "Kids Reporter," ahead of its scheduled opening next year.
The selected Kids Reporters will be given priority invitations to official events and programs at Legoland Korea Resort for about one year. The various stories experienced firsthand by the Kids Reporters will be produced as content and featured on Legoland Korea Resort's official website and social channels. The Legoland Kids Reporter program was previously held in 2019 before the opening of Legoland New York Resort and received a great response.
Specially designed merchandise and annual passes for the whole family will be provided to support the Kids Reporters' coverage activities. The Kids Reporters will be the very first to tour and experience the facilities before the official opening of Legoland Korea Resort.
Legoland Korea Resort will be accepting applications for Kids Reporters for one month, from today until March 15. Any child aged 7 to 13 currently residing in Korea is eligible to apply. Applicants must record a video introducing themselves, including their name, place of residence, age, and motivation for applying, and submit it to the Legoland Korea Resort email address. To complete the application, the video must also be posted on the applicant's parent's Instagram account with the designated hashtags (#레고랜드키즈리포터 or #LLKRKidReporter). Legoland Korea Resort will conduct a two-week screening process and announce the five final Kids Reporters on April 16.
Kim Youngpil, President of Legoland Korea Resort, stated, "The 'Kids Reporter' program is a very meaningful first step because it allows us to communicate directly with our main customers-children-and create creative content together. We expect that the various content produced with the Legoland Korea Resort Kids Reporters will satisfy the curiosity and interest that consumers have had so far."
