Four Teenagers Caught Stealing Cash from PC Bangs in the Seoul Metropolitan Area During 'Late-Night Operation Restrictions'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Four teenagers who broke into about 10 PC rooms in the Seoul metropolitan area during late-night hours, when business was restricted due to strengthened social distancing measures, and stole cash were caught by the police.
The Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced on the 17th that they arrested four youths, including a boy identified as A, on charges of special theft and obtained arrest warrants to proceed with the investigation.
According to the police, the suspects are accused of going around PC rooms in the Seoul metropolitan area, including Seoul, Pyeongtaek, and Suwon, since last month and stealing money from cash storage boxes. Currently, 13 PC rooms have reported damages, with the total amount stolen reaching about 25 million won. The police apprehended them on the 9th and 13th of this month.
