One person who voluntarily got tested after feeling symptoms tested positive and was classified as case number 2068. The route of infection is under investigation.
One person who had contact with a confirmed case from another region tested positive and was classified as case number 2072. Epidemiological investigation confirmed that on the 13th, 6 people including the individual had a family gathering in Busan. The quarantine authorities are currently checking for violations of quarantine rules regarding the ban on private gatherings of 5 or more people.
Among the 2 confirmed cases in Changwon, 1 person tested positive after contact with a confirmed family member and was classified as case number 2069. The quarantine authorities tested a total of 17 contacts including coworkers of case 2069. The test results showed 9 negative cases, and 8 are still being processed.
The other person tested positive during a hospital admission screening and was classified as case number 2070. The route of infection is under investigation.
The confirmed case in Geoje was an overseas entrant who tested positive and was classified as case number 2071.
The confirmed case in Namhae tested positive after voluntarily getting tested due to symptoms and was classified as case number 2073. The route of infection is under investigation. It was confirmed that this case attended a family gathering with 6 people including themselves in Namhae on the 12th and 13th. The quarantine authorities are checking for violations of quarantine rules regarding the ban on private gatherings of 5 or more people.
The confirmed case in Jinju also tested positive after voluntarily getting tested due to symptoms and was classified as case number 2074. The route of infection is under investigation.
