Gwangyang-si, Recruiting Trainees for This Year's Garden Expert Training Course
Recruiting Trainees Until the 26th to Promote Garden Culture Expansion
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Gwangyang City announced on the 16th that it will recruit 8 trainees for this year's garden expert training course until the 26th to meet the demand for gardens among local residents and to spread garden culture in daily life.
The training is entrusted to Suncheon National University, a designated institution for garden expert training in Jeollanam-do, and will be conducted for a total of 70 hours, including 20 hours of theory and 50 hours of practice, covering understanding garden plants, garden plant management, garden creation methods, garden jobs, and benchmarking advanced sites.
The total training cost is 800,000 KRW, with trainees paying 50,000 KRW and the city supporting 750,000 KRW.
Citizens wishing to participate in the training can refer to the city website, fill out the training participation application form and required documents, and submit them either by visiting (177 Seocheonbyeon-ro, Gwangyang-eup, Greenery Division) or by email.
Kim Jae-bok, head of the Greenery Division, said, "The training will focus on improving practical skills such as garden-related theory and practice, and benchmarking advanced sites," and added, "We hope for the interest and support of citizens so that the spread of garden culture contributes to creating a pleasant urban environment."
