Film distributor Ace Maker Movie Works announced on the 16th that it will enter the drama business starting with 'Hello? It's Me!'
An official stated, "We will expand our business area not only in film investment and distribution but also into dramas to become a comprehensive content company." Ace Maker is a distributor that ranked 5th in market share in the Korean film industry in 2019. It has invested in and distributed films such as 'Metamorphosis', 'Black Money', and 'The Outlaws'. Upcoming films in preparation include 'Wonderland', 'Noryang', and 'Seungbu'.

The new business will be in partnership with Beyond J, a production company behind dramas like 'Today's Detective' and 'Love on a Rooftop'. Their first joint project, 'Hello? It's Me!', is a fantasy romantic comedy. It depicts events that occur when a 37-year-old protagonist, who is struggling in life, meets her 17-year-old self. The drama stars Choi Kang-hee and Kim Young-kwang and will air on KBS 2TV.
