[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] As of 1:30 PM on the 15th, Gyeongsangnam-do announced that a total of 8 confirmed cases have occurred: 3 in Miryang, 2 in Changwon, 2 in Yangsan, and 1 in Geoje.
All 3 confirmed cases in Miryang tested positive after contact with confirmed family members and were classified as numbers 2059 to 2061.
Among the 2 confirmed cases in Changwon, one tested positive after contact with a confirmed case from another region and was classified as number 2063.
The other tested positive after experiencing symptoms and getting tested, classified as number 2064. The infection route is under investigation.
Among the 2 confirmed cases in Yangsan, one also tested positive after experiencing symptoms and getting tested, classified as number 2065. The infection route is under investigation.
Additionally, one overseas entrant tested positive and was classified as number 2066.
The single confirmed case in Geoje tested positive after contact with a confirmed family member from Gyeonggi-do and was classified as number 2062.
