It was a come-from-behind victory for Daniel Berger (USA), ranked 15th in the world. On the 15th (Korean time) at Pebble Beach Golf Links in California, USA (par 72, 7,051 yards), he surged with a 7-under-par on the final day of the PGA Tour AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (total prize money $7.8 million) to claim a 2-stroke victory (18-under-par 270). This was his first win of the 2021 season and his fourth career win, coming eight months after the Charles Schwab Challenge last June. The winner's prize was $1,404,000 (approximately 1.55 billion KRW).
Starting 2 strokes behind in second place, Berger recorded two eagles, four birdies, and one bogey. His early surge was highlighted by an eagle on the 2nd hole (par 5) with a '2-on 1-putt' and a birdie on the 3rd hole (par 4). He gained momentum with a birdie on the 6th hole (par 5), and although he made his only bogey on the 8th hole (par 4), he recovered with birdies on the 10th and 14th holes. The final 18th hole (par 5) was the highlight. After successfully reaching the green in two shots from 250 yards, he sealed the win with a spectacular 9.4-meter eagle putt.
Berger first came into the spotlight when he won the Charles Schwab Challenge last year, which had been shut down due to COVID-19 and then resumed. After a playoff battle with Collin Morikawa (USA), he reached his third career win for the first time in three years since back-to-back victories at the FedEx St. Jude Classic in 2016-2017, asserting his presence. On this day, he unleashed a maximum drive of 347 yards, demonstrated pinpoint iron shots with an 83.33% greens in regulation rate, and showed impressive putting with an average of 1.67 putts per hole.

Spieth, who led by one stroke after the second round and by two strokes after the third round, was aiming for his first win in four years since the 2017 Open Championship but fell short due to shaky tee shots and a lack of that crucial "2%". Patrick Cantlay (USA), champion of the Zozo Championship, also ended his bid for a second win tied for third.

Nate Lashley (USA) was hampered by a triple bogey on the 16th hole (par 4). After collecting five birdies up to the 15th hole (par 4) and mounting a late charge, he four-putted from just 3.6 meters, leading to frustration where he even struck the green with his putter, risking a penalty. Interestingly, Lashley is the son of Scott McNealy, co-founder of IT company Sun Microsystems, and is the boyfriend of Danielle Kang (USA), who competes on the LPGA Tour. Kang Sung-hoon (34) remained tied for 63rd place (2-over-par 290).
