2 Additional Confirmed Cases Related to Bucheon Yeongsaenggyo
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Two additional confirmed cases have emerged related to the Yeongsaenggyo Seungri Altar facility in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province.
On the 14th, Bucheon City announced that a total of seven people, including two related to the Yeongsaenggyo Seungri Altar facility in Goean-dong, tested positive for COVID-19.
Among the two confirmed cases related to the Seungri Altar, one is a member of the altar congregation, and the other is a family member of that congregant.
Accordingly, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Bucheon related to the Seungri Altar and the Ojeong-dong Ojeong Neungryeok Supplementary Academy has reached 121.
Earlier, the Central Disease Control Headquarters announced that as of midnight, the nationwide cumulative confirmed cases related to the Seungri Altar and the supplementary academy totaled 128.
At the Seungri Altar and the supplementary academy, following the mass outbreak of 53 confirmed cases on the 9th, additional related confirmed cases continued to emerge during the Lunar New Year holiday.
On this day, two other new confirmed cases in the Bucheon area were family members of existing confirmed cases.
