Nexon Korea Pays 656.1 Billion KRW Dividend to Japanese Headquarters... Record High
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Nexon Korea has decided to pay the largest cash dividend ever to its parent company, Nexon Japan.
According to Japan's electronic disclosure system (EDINET) on the 14th, Nexon Korea will pay a year-end dividend of 29.984 billion yen (approximately 320.3 billion KRW) in surplus funds to Nexon Japan.
Previously, Nexon Korea paid an interim dividend of 31.434 billion yen (335.8 billion KRW) last year. Accordingly, the total dividend amount from Nexon Korea to its parent company reaches 61.418 billion yen (656.1 billion KRW).
The dividend amount from Nexon Korea to its parent company is the largest ever, increasing by more than 30% compared to the previous year (46.759 billion yen).

Nexon Korea stated regarding the parent company dividend that it is "for the purpose of enhancing corporate value, including increasing shareholder value and reinvesting in future businesses."
