[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that there are no casualties among Korean nationals due to the magnitude 7.3 earthquake that occurred on the 31st in the northeastern sea area of Fukushima Prefecture, Japan.
On the 14th, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, "The Consulate General in Sendai has assessed the damage status through the contact network of Korean organizations such as Mindan (Korean Residents Union in Japan), and so far, there have been no casualties among our nationals."
