Kim Hyuk-jong, President of Gwangju University, Encourages Military and Police on Lunar New Year Holiday
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Gwangju University announced on the 10th that President Kim Hyuk-jong recently visited local military units and police stations in succession to offer encouragement and deliver consolation money and gifts in celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday.
This consolation visit was arranged to encourage and express gratitude to the military personnel and police officers who are at the forefront of protecting the lives and property of local residents.
On the day, President Kim visited the Air Force 1st Fighter Wing, Army 31st Division, 331 Military Security Support Unit, and Gwangju Nambu Police Station to deliver consolation money and gifts.
He makes consolation visits to military units and police stations every year before the holidays.
