[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yongsan-gu (Mayor Seong Jang-hyun) is calling for applications for the 2021 Apartment Management Support Project.
The application deadline is March 16, and eligible applicants are apartment complexes subject to mandatory management under Article 2 of the Enforcement Decree of the Apartment Management Act, as well as apartment complexes with 20 or more households under voluntary management. A total of 119 complexes with 32,879 households are included.
The support projects are divided into ‘Community Revitalization’ and ‘Common Facility Maintenance’ projects.
The Community Revitalization projects include ▲installation and maintenance of outdoor security lights and CCTV due to opening fences or passageways ▲maintenance of restrooms open to nearby residents ▲maintenance of playgrounds open to nearby residents ▲installation of facilities and equipment for meeting transparency such as resident representative meetings.
Common Facility Maintenance projects include ▲repair of main roads and security lights ▲repair and dredging of outdoor sewage systems ▲repair of senior citizen centers ▲repair of outdoor exercise facilities ▲installation and improvement of shared indoor sports facilities open to nearby residents ▲installation and improvement of facilities for the disabled and energy-saving facilities.
The total project budget is 200 million KRW. Apartment complexes wishing to apply should submit the application form, project plan, pledge of sincere implementation, documents proving the resolution of the resident representative meeting, and proof of self-funding to the district housing department. Applications can also be submitted via email (hy423@yongsan.go.kr).
Related forms are posted in the ‘Announcements/Notices’ section on the district website.
The district will notify the support recipients after on-site inspections, feasibility reviews, and deliberations by the review committee. The selected apartment complexes will sign an agreement with the district (in April) and then implement the project independently. Project performance and financial settlement documents must be submitted to the district within 30 days after project completion.
Last year, the district conducted 44 management support projects targeting 34 apartment complexes in the area.
Major projects included main road repair work in Sebang River Highville complex, painting work in Hyochang Benest above-ground parking lot, outdoor sewage repair and dredging in Park Tower, water supply repair in Samgak Apartment, outdoor parking lot repair in Ichon Daerim Apartment, and elevator replacement in Hyundai Apartment.
