One More Confirmed Case in Gwangju...Total 1,915 Cases
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] One new COVID-19 case has been confirmed in Gwangju Metropolitan City.
According to Gwangju City on the 9th, as of 6 PM, one person tested positive, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 1,915.
Gwangju case number 1915 is a resident of Nam-gu and was found to have had contact with Jeonnam case number 738. He received the final positive result in a test conducted before the end of his self-quarantine.
As of now, seven new confirmed cases have been reported in Gwangju today.
Among the six previously announced cases, two are related to Gwangju TCS International School, and three others who had contact with Jeonbuk case number 1025, an employee at a meat processing company in Gimje, Jeonbuk, were also confirmed positive consecutively.
