Seoul City to Operate 46 Temporary Screening Clinics During Lunar New Year Holiday
Response to COVID-19 Spread During Lunar New Year Holiday from 11th to 14th... Temporary Screening Clinics and Screening Clinics at Each District Health Center to Operate During the Holiday
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Seoul City announced on the 9th that it will operate temporary screening clinics during the Lunar New Year holiday period to proactively respond to the risk of infection transmission without any blind spots in testing, even during the holidays when family contact is frequent.
To enhance testing accessibility, 46 temporary screening clinics located at major crowded points such as Seoul Station, Yongsan Station, and Express Bus Terminal will remain open during the holiday period. However, due to the nature of the holiday and on-site conditions such as medical staff availability, the operating periods and hours of each clinic may vary, so prior confirmation is necessary. The locations and operating hours of nearby temporary screening clinics can be found on the Seoul City website, by calling 120, or by searching for temporary screening clinics on Naver Maps and KakaoMap.
In addition to the temporary screening clinics, screening clinics installed at each district health center will also continue to operate during the Lunar New Year holiday. Accordingly, Acting Mayor Seo Jeong-hyeop plans to visit the Sinchon Train Station temporary screening clinic on the day to encourage medical staff and employees and to check the operational status.
